Orange Cake

Making  an Orange Cake

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 whole orange (seedless)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter –  melted
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1½ plain all purpose flour
  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
METHOD
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Grease a large loaf pan
  3. Put the whole washed orange into a food processor and pulse it until it’s completely broken down and no large pieces remain. 
  4. Add the remaining  ingredients and pulse again until everything is mixed together.
  5. Load the batter into the loaf pan and cook for around 40-50 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean when inserted into the middle of the pan.
