Peach Cobbler

1 stick butter
1.25 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup sugar
.75 cup milk
1 quart jar of peaches – drained

Melt butter in 10″ cast iron skillet while oven is preheating. Combine flour baking powder, sugar and milk and mix to the consistency of pancake batter.  Add the batter to the butter in the preheated pan.  Add the peaches to the top of the batter and bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.

    I’m going to try it again with 3/4 stick butter, 1/2 c sugar, and a mix of half buttermilk and half milk. Also I using frozen blueberries…….
